Continuing the revolutionary animated commercials for Habito mortgage brokers, that saw a tripling of customer base and leading market presence, the new spot brings to life the pain of interest rate uncertainty in the seventh instalment of the "Hell or Habito" campaign. Promoting Habito One – Habito's new range of fixed-for-life mortgages, the ad opens with an unsuspecting homeowner tending to her cottage garden to the sound of birdsong and the hum of flying insects.
A newspaper lands on the garden path with the headline "% interest rates rise" and "homeowners could get stung". The sky dramatically darkens and a swarm of wasps flood out of a hive in the tree above, angrily dive bombind at her pith their percentage rate stingers ready to strike. The garden transforms into a hellish scene of menacing thorns, man-eating plants and skull rocks as our protagpnist desperately tries to escape a violent wasp attack as she is stung all over her body, face and hands leaving large oozing welts to erupt from her skin and cover the screen in yellow puss. As she makes for the safety of her home a giant stinger pierces her heart as the swarm grows and fills the sky. Reaching for her a phone she clicks the Habito One button which forms a protective force-fields around her home and zaps the wasps away. Our homeowner is then brought to a serene scene of heavenly protection, in full control of her home and her mortgage.
