Dew Tour is a bi-annual contest series that brings together the world's best skateboards and snowboarders. For Dew Tour's Winter 2018 snow and ski contest, the 'Breck or Bust' animated promo presented a unique challenge of creating a succinct design world that incorporated Luke Pelletier's Dew Tour Winter 2018 characters with new character and environment design.
While also creatively conveying key event information and highlights into a 45 second animated journey from the renowned contest's Californian summer skate event to it's Colorado winter ski and snowboard competition. Gator, buffalo and shredder are sent on an epic road trip from the Dew Tour's Summer skate contest in Long Beach, CA to the Winter Dew Tour in Breckenridge, CO where the special guest driver, legendary rider Danny Davis, is revealed at the end of the spot.
